Knowledge Net finalizes fractional share sale following capital raise

Riyadh – Mubasher: Knowledge Net Company has officially concluded the sale of fractional shares resulting from its recent capital increase.

According to the regulatory disclosure, Knowledge Net completed the sale of these fractional shares on 11 June 2026.

The transaction involved the sale of a total of 43 shares, which generated a total return of SAR 435.26 and the shares were liquidated at an average market price of SAR 10.12 per share, reflecting the valuation at the time of the transaction.

The company announced that the proceeds from the liquidation of these shares have been successfully deposited into the bank accounts of eligible shareholders, marking the final administrative phase of the corporate action approved by its Extraordinary General Meeting in May 2026.

The process follows the resolutions passed during the company’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), held on 11 May 2026, during which shareholders provided the necessary approval for an increase in the company’s share capital.

In the Saudi capital market, such capital adjustments frequently result in fractional shares when the allocation ratio does not allow for the distribution of whole shares to every investor based on their existing holdings. To resolve these fractions and maintain equity, companies aggregate the partial shares and sell them on the open market on behalf of the entitled shareholders.
