King Salman to launch SAR 16bn projects in Qassim

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Wednesday has unveiled plans to implement more than 600 projects with as much as SAR 16 billion ($4.3 billion) in investments in Qassim region over the coming period.

Around 402 projects with investments of SAR 12.15 billion will be carried out in various field, namely education, electricity, environment, housing, public services, road, and water, according to Arabian Business.

The oil-rich Kingdom will also lay the foundation stones of 199 projects worth SAR 4.2 billion on Wednesday.

During his visit to Qassim region, King Salam ordered to release domestic prisoners who were accused of bankruptcy and their obligations do not pass SAR 1 million.

The Saudi king was accompanied by Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defence.
