Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Chemical Industries (Kima) targets EGP 4.5 billion in sales during fiscal year 2020/2021.
Kima aims to boost its sales to EGP 6 billion over the coming two years based on the international price of urea per tonne, according to a bourse statement on Sunday.
These targets are still under consideration, the company noted.
In FY18/19, the Egyptian company aims to achieve sales of EGP 3.6 billion.
It is noteworthy that during the first quarter of FY19/20, the company reported net profits of EGP 80.1 million, versus net losses of EGP 12.46 million in the year-ago period.
Sales edged down to EGP 65.1 million in the July-September period, compared to EGP 66.1 million in the same period a year earlier.
