Kuwait-Mubasher: The Kuwaiti bourse ended Monday’s trading session in the red zone, dragged by the fall of nine sectors.
The market’s benchmark index retreated 0.29% or 15.39 points to reach 5,365.47 points. Similarly, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices fell by 0.35% or 0.37% respectively.
Liquidity increased by 55.3% to KWD 6.4 million, as trading volume grew by 48.1% to 62.9 million shares.
The insurance sector led nine decliners by 0.97%, dragged by Wethaq which lost 8.06%.
Meanwhile, the healthcare sector topped three gainers by 0.85%, backed by Safwan which rose by 3.28%.
Mayadeen was the most active stock on which 13.4 million shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 363,200. The tsock fell by 1.85%.
NBK recorded the highest trading value which stood at KWD 1.6 million, after 2.8 million shares were traded. The stock retreated by 1.72% to 570 fils.
