Mubasher: KAMCO Investment Company said that its property fund, KAMCO Real Estate Yield Fund (KREYF), achieved 5.33% returns during 2016, compared to 4.17% returns in 2015, according to a statement issued on Monday.
KREYF increased by 116 basis points with a growth rate of 27.82%, and successfully distributed 4% dividends to investors in 2016 and 4.17% in 2015, chief investment officer of KAMCO Khaled Fouad said.
He added that the fund’s assets under management (AUM) increased by nearly $23 million to reach $63.24 million in 2016, in comparison to $40.50 million in 2015.
On the stock level, KAMCO ended Monday’s trading session at 89 fils, after trading value amounted to about KWD 5,500 that was generated through nearly 62,400 stocks.
