Cairo - Mubasher: El-Nasr Clothing and Textiles Company (KABO) announced a development plan to boost the export production lines and carry out a comprehensive expansion of El-Amreya and El-Hadara factories.
KABO intends to increase the daily output to more than 85,000 garments and the total production lines to 78 instead of the current 41 after implementing all developments for both manufacturing facilities, according to a bourse disclosure.
The expansion plan will include upgraded cutting rooms, new production lines, and advanced automation to boost efficiency and support exports to regional and international markets.
Meanwhile, the EGX-listed company signed the expansion agreements during the Egypt Stitch & Tex exhibition with international partners: Italy’s IFK Group, Turkey’s OZER Machine, and China’ Supreme Intelligent Technology Company, Ltd.
El-Amreya factory expansion aims to raise production lines to 12 from 4, boosting daily capacity to 10,000 units, while its cutting room will handle up to 30,000 garments on a daily basis. This is expected to enhance the factory’s ability to meet third-party manufacturing demands.
On the other hand, KABO plans to increase El-Hadara’s lines to 66 from 37 in order to raise the output to 75,000 from 40,000 garments.
The company's expansion move will strengthen its efficiency, export capacity, and the competitiveness of Egyptian garments in the Gulf and European markets.
