Cairo – Mubasher: Juhayna Food Industries recorded consolidated net profits of EGP 440 million in 2020, up by 34% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 329 million, the unaudited financial results showed.
The sales increased to EGP 7.642 billion last year, compared to EGP 7.636 billion in 2019, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Monday.
As for standalone business, the company registered net profits of EGP 432 million in 2020, up from EGP 368 million a year earlier.
No standalone sales were reported during the period as the production and sales operations at Juhayna have been halted since the second quarter (Q2) of 2014.
During the first nine months of 2020, Juhayna Food Industries achieved net profits of EGP 383.74 million, up from EGP 291 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
