Riyadh – Mubasher: Jabal Omar Development is seeking to create partnerships and expand in the coming period to make use of available investment opportunities, the company’s CEO Yaser Faisal Al Sharif stated.
The company seeks to expand outside Makkah by investing in Madinah, Al Sharif said during the Euromoney 2017 Conference, held in Saudi Arabia, according to a statement.
Jabal Omar is interested in the hospitality sector, the CEO revealed, noting that his company was looking to expand to meet the growing demand for Hajj and Umra, as pilgrims are expected to reach 30 million by 2030.
Al Sharif also said that the company's strategy aims to increase the value of the Jabal project as opposed to merely completing it. He added that the company was also open to strategic investments to cover its commitments.
There are other investment opportunities in retail, infrastructure, training, sustainable development, and Sharia-compliant luxury, he added.
