Mubasher: The Joint OPEC-Non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) holds its sixth meeting on Wednesday to discuss October oil production levels and the producers' commitment to the production cuts, KUNA reported on Tuesday, citing Kuwait's oil minister Essam al-Marzouq as saying.
JMMC will refer the recommendations to the OPEC meeting scheduled to be held on Thursday, 30 November, he added.
OPEC and non-OPEC delegates will consider whether to extend oil production cuts in an effort to make the opportune decision which serves interests of both the producers and consumers and rebalances the international oil market, al-Marzouq told KUNA following his arrival in Vienna for the meeting.
He highlighted that there was a consensus around prolonging oil output curbs from the 24 signatories of OPEC deal.
From his part, Iraqi oil minister Jabar al-Luaibi told the news agency that Iraq supports OPEC's decisions, highlighting the possibility of extending oil production cuts in Thursday's meeting.
