UAE - Mubasher: The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has announced the inauguration of the Israel Diamond Exchange's (IDE) representative office at the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE).
This step aims to facilitate ease of doing business for Israeli diamond companies operating in or seeking to establish their businesses in Dubai and strengthen bilateral relations, according to a press release on Wednesday.
The opening came following DMCC's announcement that the UAE recorded $22.8 billion rough diamonds traded in 2021, becoming the world’s largest rough diamond trade hub.
The IDE's opening took place following the Dubai Diamond Conference and on the inaugural day of JGT Dubai.
