Mubasher: Investcorp Technology Partners, which is part of the Investcorp Group, announced Wednesday reaching an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Ageras, a Copenhagen-based online marketplace, according to a press release.
“Despite receiving no external investment until now, Ageras grew its revenues by approximately 60% over the last financial year and, in 2016, connected nearly 16,600 customers successfully," the statement indicated.
“We see a number of growth opportunities, initially focused on (Ageras) existing markets in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Holland, and Germany, but over time we plan on helping the company expand its reach across Europe,” said Yasser Bajsair, the managing director of Investcorp in Saudi Arabia.
