Ingram Micro opens advanced warehousing facilities in Jafza

UAE - Mubasher: Ingram Micro, a technology distributor of IT products and services, has opened new warehouse facilities in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) in Dubai to serve the Middle East and beyond.

Served by the Narrow Aisle Articulated (VNA) machines, the new warehouse facilities include more than 7,500 square metres plot, with 11 meters height storage, according to a press release on Thursday.

The new facilities also offer some of the most advanced security solutions in the region, which are designed and installed in line with SIRA guidelines and connected with the Dubai Police via Video Guard service. 

The CEO and Managing Director of DP World UAE Region and Jafza, Abdulla bin Damithan, said: "We are certain that the technologically-advanced warehousing facilities by Ingram Micro will elevate the offerings in Jafza, adding to the success of both entities, in the UAE and the Middle East."

Meanwhile, the SVP & Chief Executive of Ingram Micro – META, Ali Baghdadi, remarked: "We serve the region from these new facilities with equipment and solutions in Physical Security, Cyber Security, Data Center, Networking, AI, and more worth $2 billion a year."
