Mubasher: The tourism department of India’s Kerala state is expecting a 40% increase in the number of Saudi visitors after the Indian foreign minister’s decision to extend e-visa facilities to Saudi citizens.
The department is planning to launch a major campaign in the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia in June, it said.
“The new brand campaign by Kerala tourism…[is] showcasing the state’s signature assets and celebrating its people as heroes, will be unveiled in select GCC countries through a major marketing blitzkrieg,” Kerala Tourism Department director Bala Kiran told Arabian Business.
Kerala Tourism has developed new tourism infrastructure projects in many of the Indian’s state tourist locations.
