Incolease targets EGP 18bn financial leasing portfolio by end-2026

Cairo - Mubasher: International Company for Leasing (Incolease) aims to expand its financial leasing portfolio to EGP 18 billion by the end of 2026, CEO Khaled Sarhan revealed. 

This target is higher than the EGP 13.20 billion recorded in 2025, according to a bourse filing.

Meanwhile, the EGX-listed firm is continuing to grow its customer base, supported by securitization transactions and expansion across various financing activities.

Sarhan noted that Incolease recently completed an EGP 2 billion securitization transaction and will utilize the proceeds to reduce leverage, expand financing operations, and increase its customer base.

Based on the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), Egypt’s leasing activity reached EGP 15 billion in January 2026, marking an annual surge of 43.40% from EGP 10.40 billion.

Meanwhile, the number of leasing contracts declined by 3.70% to 184 in January 2026 from 191 in the corresponding month a year earlier.

Real estate dominated the sector with a 69.75% share, followed by machinery and equipment at 14.86%, trucks at 8.09%, and passenger cars at 4.94%. Production lines accounted for 0.76% and office equipment for 0.76%, while other sectors represented 1.59% of the market.
