Cairo – Mubasher: Production of The Holding Company for Roads, Bridges and Land Transportation Projects surpassed EGP 10 billion during fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, compared to EGP 8 billion during FY20/21.
The Holding Company has purchased new equipment for its subsidiaries at a total value of EGP 720 million and bought a new factory for high-speed train flanges at EGP 120 million, with a production rate up to 420,000 flanges per year.
The announcement was made on Wednesday during the company’s ordinary and extraordinary general meetings, presided by the Egyptian Minister of Transport, Kamel El-Wazir.
Additionally, the company completed key projects in the fields of roads, bridges, Nile axes, and railway development, in addition to civil works for light rail transit (LRT) and port works.
The extraordinary assembly further approved adding the investment, and industrial and real estate activities to the company’s business.
