UAE – Mubasher: Hewlett-Packard Financial Services Company (HPEFS) allocated $2 billion to support its customers in the UAE and the globe amid the financial challenges caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Through the fund, the company seeks to help its customers to use their existing IT assets as new sources of capital to purchase and upgrade technology, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), a U.S. information technology company, announced in a press release on Monday.
Meanwhile, HPEFS has set up a payment relief programme that enables customers to purchase technology and pay 1% of the total contract value each month for the first eight months and delay repayment of more than 90% of the cost until 2021.
The president and CEO of HPEFS, Irv Rothman, said: “This is a challenging time to lead a business. Today more than ever, IT leaders and CFOs play a central role in ensuring financial health while continuing operations."
