Cairo – Mubasher: A Gulf-based firm operating in the business process outsourcing sector has accepted Raya Contact Center's binding offer for the acquisition of 100% of the issued capital of the company.
The transaction, which amounts to $14.2 million, is conditional on negotiations and executing all definitive agreements, Raya said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
The potential deal will enable Raya Contact Center to further expand its presence in the GCC region and enter new markets such as Saudi Arabia.
During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Raya Contact Center achieved net profits of EGP 2.04 million, down from EGP 10.3 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
