Cairo – Mubasher: Gold prices in Egypt rose on Wednesday as the precious metal increased globally amid the depreciation of the US dollar, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.
The 21-karat gold grew by EGP 4 to EGP 817 per gram, Hany Gayed, Head of Gold Jewelry Division at Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said.
Meanwhile, the per-gram prices of 18- and 24-karat gold increased to EGP 700 and EGP 934, respectively, and the gold pound reached EGP 6,536.
