Cairo – Mubasher: Mobilink, Global Telecom' (GTHE) said the process of selling its cellular towers in Pakistani is pending on securing the rregulators’ approvals as well as the progress of the negations it runs with different parties, said a bourse filling.
The bourse statement followed news reports stating that Mobilink is to invest $1 billion over the next five years, with $300 million to be invested in the current year on the expansion and up-gradation of the cellular services in Pakistan.
The news reports cited Group Executive Officer of Mobilink Jean-Yves Charlier, who pointed out that Mobilink reported growth of 10% on yearly basis of revenues in the first quarter of 2016.
