Cairo – Mubasher: General Company for Silos and Storage on Tuesday posted a 20.4% year-on-year surge in profits for fiscal year 2016/2017, according to a bourse filing.
The firm achieved a net profit of EGP 70.16 million in the fiscal year ended June 2017 from EGP 58.24 million in the prior period.
Net revenues dropped to EGP 549.6.6 million in the period between July 2016 and June 2017, while sales reached EGP 609.6 million.
The profits of the company amounted to EGP 44.46 million in the period between July 2016 and March 2017 from EGP 36.21 million in the corresponding period of the year before.
General Company for Silos’ stock closed Monday at EGP 45.79, declining 1.04%.
