Cairo – Mubasher: Ghabbour Auto (GB Auto) announced its partnership with China’s Higer Bus Company Limited to represent the bus manufacturer in Egypt and locally assemble buses at GB Polo.
Higer and GB Polo will lead the localisation process of electric, diesel, and compressed natural gas (CNG) buses to contribute to the public and private transport sectors, the company said on its LinkedIn page.
During the first six months of 2020, GB Auto posted net profits of EGP 363.02 million, up from EGP 113.4 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, including minority shareholders’ rights.
