Foreign ownership on Tadawul marginally down in week

Riyadh – Mubasher: The value of shares owned by foreign investors on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) fell by 0.14% or SAR 289 million weekly during the week ended on 10 December 2020 to SAR 206.93 billion.

This ownership represents 2.25% of issued shares and 12.77% of free shares, according to data released by Tadawul.

The value of shares owned by Saudi investors stood at SAR 8.93 trillion last week, down by SAR 73.43 billion when compared to SAR 9 trillion a week earlier, representing 97.25% of issued shares and 84.72% of free shares.

As for GCC investors, ownership declined by SAR 156 million to reach SAR 45.24 billion, representing 0.49% of issued shares and 2.51% of free shares.
