Foreign investors on Tadawul sell SAR 16.2m of stocks in week

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) said that foreign and Saudi investors sold a net of SAR 16.17 million and SAR 142.75 million of stocks, respectively, during the week ended on 10 December 2020.

Meanwhile, Gulf investors purchased stocks worth SAR 158.93 million, as shown by data from Tadawul.

Total sells of foreign investors recorded SAR 2.86 billion, representing 5.10% of the market’s total sales, while purchases hit SAR 2.85 billion, representing 5.08% of total buys.

Likewise, Saudi investors logged SAR 52.93 billion worth of sells, accounting for 94.31% of total sales deals, and buys of SAR 52.79 billion, representing 94.06% of total purchases.

On the other hand, GCC investors’ purchases amounted to SAR 486 million, representing 0.87% of total buys on Tadawul’s main market, while sales reached SAR 327.08 million, representing 0.58% of total sells.

Tadawul closed last week on a negative note for the second successive week amid low liquidity.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) dropped by 0.37% or 31.76 points, closing at the level of 8.643.97 points.
