Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) extended its gains, for the third day in row, amid strong foreign buying.
The benchmark index EGX30 added 0.24% to 7,175.59 points. Following suit, the broader index EGX100 went up 0.03%.
On other hand, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 eased 0.07%.
The market turnover recorded EGP 324 million, noting that foreign investors stepped in as net buyers with EGP 18.11 million.
Institutions were net buyers, while retail traders were net sellers.
Middle Egypt Flour Mills was the top gainer as it added 7.5%, while Zahraa Maadi Investment was the steepest decliner as it lost 8.5%.
