Fine plans moving factories to Egypt as regional hub

Cairo - Mubasher: Fine Hygienic Holding is considering to move some of its factories across the region to Egypt to establish a strong exporting base for different markets.

Rawan Emeish, the company’s chief commercial director in Levant and Egypt told Mubasher on Tuesday that Egypt enjoys a number of competitive advantages that to be a central base for the group to export to Arab countries, as well as African and European markets.

Emeish did not specify the countries from which factories could be moved, saying that the matter is still being studied.

Fine export its products to around 30 markets in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

The company’s investments in Egypt rose to EGP 1.25 billion in 2018, she added, noting that Fine enjoys a market share of nearly 30%.
