Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation said that prime minister Sherif Ismail has appointed Mohamed Farid Saleh as the new chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) for four years.
Saleh, the former deputy chairman of EGX, has been appointed as a successor to Mohamed Omran, whose term ended.
The minister of investment, Sahar Nasr called upon the new chairman and the board of directors to keep working on developing the exchange, contributing to the growth of the Egyptian economy.
Mohamed Farid served as deputy chairman of EGX between 11 July 2010 and October 2011.
