Fakeeh Care partners with Samsung C&T Saudi Arabia to develop AI-powered hospitals

Riyadh – Mubasher: Dr. Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh Hospital Company, known as Fakeeh Care Group, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) agreement with Samsung C&T Corporation Saudi Arabia to leverage AI in hospitals.

The two sides aim to explore joint development opportunities in the healthcare sector while leveraging advanced South Korean hospital technologies to expand the Kingdom’s healthcare infrastructure in alignment with the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, according to a bourse disclosure.

Fakeeh Care and its subsidiaries have formalized a strategic agreement with Samsung C&T Corporation Saudi Arabia to collaborate on the development of next-generation healthcare projects, upon the one-year MoU signed on 14 May 2026.

The collaboration is designed to integrate cutting-edge technology into the delivery of healthcare services, which are a primary focus of the agreement is the implementation of smart hospital systems powered by AI.

By adopting these advanced AI systems, the partnership seeks to enhance clinical outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and modernize the patient experience within the medical group’s expanding network.

The parties further intend to explore development opportunities using a Property and Operating Company model, often referred to as PropCo/OpCo. This specialized business structure allows for the separation of real estate ownership and infrastructure development from the clinical and day-to-day management of the hospital. This approach is intended to optimize capital allocation and ensure that both the physical assets and the medical services are managed by specialized entities.

The agreement includes provisions for extension should both parties agree to continue the collaboration beyond the initial term. Furthermore, it represents a significant step for Fakeeh Care as it seeks to strengthen its position as a leading provider of private healthcare in the region while contributing to the national goal of establishing Saudi Arabia as a regional hub for healthcare innovation.

In late 2025, Fakeeh Care obtained a credit facility from the listed Arab National Bank (ANB) to fuel its expansion and growth plans.
