Riyadh – Mubasher: FTSE Russell on Sunday launched the FTSE Saudi Arabia Inclusion Index Series, to encourage international investors for investing in the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
The new launched index is a series of global, regional and country-level indexes which can be used as a transitional tool to list Tadawul under the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (FTSE GEIS), according to a statement.
On 30 September, FTSE Russell postponed listing Tadawul under FTSE Russell Emerging Markets Index, and said that the Saudi body will be evaluated again in March 2018.
