Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) have denied the news claiming a potential merger between the two entities.
FAB and ADCB confirmed that they have not entered discussions to pursue any merger activity, according to bourse filings on Wednesday.
FAB said that its businesses focus on fulfilling long-term strategic plans and creating value for stakeholders.
"ADCB is successfully implementing a five-year strategy and has been updating the market through regular disclosures, including the Bank's website, annual reports, and quarterly reports," ADCB announced in a separate statement.
