Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Tuesday’s early trades, adding 0.24% or 10.86 points to reach 4,496.85 points by 10:40am UAE time.
Turnover reached AED 517.235 million after 43.4 million shares were traded. Etisalat accounted for 96% of the market trades which reached a total value of AED 500 million.
The telecom sector added 1.75% due to a rise in Etisalat.
The real estate sector advanced 0.36% as Aldar Properties increased 0.43%.
Methaq Takaful Insurance Company was the best performer after gaining 2.20%, while Al Khazna Insurance Company led losers after falling 2.50%.
UAE markets are expected to hold steady amid correction process after stock prices fell to attractive buying levels, analysts earlier told Mubasher.
