UAE – Mubasher: Etihad Airways has moved its first of five Airbus SE A350 planes to its hub in Abu Dhabi nearly two years after Airbus company had manufactured the aircraft, Bloomberg reported.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline company has not set the aircraft's operation date yet as part of its broader strategy planning, the Gulf carrier referred.
Etihad’s CEO has previously announced that the company is seeking to operate up to 12 A350s.
The company has previously ordered 20 Airbus A350 planes, down from 62 originally, of which five were delivered and stood idled in Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport.
