Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways announced that it will launch new seasonal routes from Abu Dhabi to the Egyptian governorate of Alexandria and the Omani city of Salalah between 25 June and 15 September 2020.
Given the success of the seasonal routes in 2019, the period of operation has been increased by three weeks and a new fifth weekly service has been introduced for both flights on Fridays, along with current departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, according to a statement on Tuesday.
The two flights will be operated by an Airbus A320 plane.
Each week, the airline will launch 33 flights to Egypt with 28 flights to Cairo and five to Alexandria as well as 26 flights to Oman, including 21 flights to Muscat and five to Salalah.
