UAE– Mubasher: The board of Emirates Green Building Council (EmiratesGBC) has elected its new management committee for 2020/2021, with the CEO of Etihad Energy Services, Ali Al Jassim, chairing the board.
It has further appointed five new members in the positions of vice chairs, treasurer, and secretary, according to a press release on Monday.
In this regard, EmiratesGBC's new chairman, remarked, “For more than a decade, EmiratesGBC has accomplished outstanding achievements in strengthening awareness about sustainable built environments as well as in driving our nation towards our clean energy and net-zero carbon commitments.”
The new board will exert efforts to achieve EmiratesGBC’s vision in making the UAE a global leader for sustainability in the built environment, being “a catalyst for collaboration” and "a hub for excellence”.
