Dubai-Mubasher: Emirates Airlines became the third-largest cargo carrier with a total of 2.5 million tonnes carried, according to the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) industry performance statistics for 2015.
FedEx ranked first with 7.1 million tonnes carried last year, followed by UPS carried at 4.5 million tonnes.
The global air freight market grew 2.3% on an annual basis.
