Emirates Airlines to resume limited passenger flights Sunday

Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Airlines will operate passenger services to selected destinations from the Dubai International Airport (DXB) effective as of Sunday, 12 April.

All departing passengers will undergo thermal scanning in DXB’s Terminal 3 and will be reminded to bring face masks, gloves, and abide by social distancing rules, Dubai Airports disclosed on Sunday.

The move comes after the UAE had suspended all inbound, outbound, and transit flights as of 24 March until further notice over coronavirus (COVID-19) fears.

Except for the abovementioned flights, only vital cargo and emergency evacuation flights will operate from the DXB and the Dubai World Central (DWC) over this period.

It is noteworthy that Dubai Airports has expressed its full commitment to the measures taken to protect the health and safety of its customers, community, and employees.
