Riyadh – Mubasher: The net losses of Emaar The Economic City widened by 46.34% to SAR 180 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, compared to SAR 123 million in Q1-25.
The group generated 23.03% year-on-year (YoY) lower revenues at SAR 157 million as of 31 March 2026, compared to SAR 204 million, according to the interim financial results.
The loss per share stood at SAR 0.20 in the first three months of 2026, versus SAR 0.24 a year earlier.
Quarterly, the company turned to net losses in Q1-26 when compared to net profits of SAR 293 million in Q4-25, while the revenues plummeted by 65.64% from SAR 457 million.
Accumulated losses hit SAR 177 million at the end of March 2026, representing 2% of the capital.
Emaar The Economic City suffered 99.21% YoY lower net losses at SAR 9 million in 2025.
