Riyadh – Mubasher: Emaar The Economic City reported a decrease of 99.21% in net losses to SAR 9 million in 2025 from SAR 1.13 billion in 2024.
The loss per share shrank to SAR 0.02 in 2025 when compared with SAR 2.17 in the previous year, according to a bourse filing.
Meanwhile, the listed company recorded a 167.14% leap in revenue to SAR 1.13 billion during January-December 2025 from SAR 426 millio in 2024.
Emaar The Economic City noted that the revenue growth in 2025 was attributed to several factors, including higher sales of residential land and the recognition of additional development revenue resulting from project progression in the percentage of completion for ongoing property development projects.
This was in addition to an increase in operational revenue, which was mainly driven by lease contracts signed in the Industrial Valley, increased hospitality revenue, and higher education sector revenue from student enrollment in one of the subsidiaries.
It is worth noting that in the first nine months (9M) of 2025, Emaar The Economic City incurred net losses of SAR 302 million while generating revenue growth at SAR 680 million.
