Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the first phase of the food industrial city (Silo Foods) in Sadat City in El-Menofia Governorate on Tuesday.
Established over an area of 135 feddans, Silo Foods includes 10 factories with a combined output capacity of 470,000 tonnes of different products per year.
The second phase of the project, which will include four factories, will be inaugurated with the celebration of Sinai Liberation Day.
The city will help develop the current school meal system through the production of nutrient-rich meals with the government working to allocate EGP 8 billion for these meals in the upcoming period, El-Sisi said.
