Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Co. (Egytrans) reported a 25% year-on-year growth in its standalone profits during the first quarter of 2019, driven by increased revenues.
Egytrans logged EGP 23.73 million in net profits in the three-month period ended 31 March, compared to EGP 18.99 million in the year-ago period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
Meanwhile, revenues rose to EGP 79.48 million in Q1-19 from EGP 50.22 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
For the full-year 2018, Egytrans logged EGP 41.8 million in consolidated profits, compared to EGP 77.25 million in the prior year.
Sales retreated to EGP 277.8 million last year from EGP 352.29 million in 2017.
