Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday down by 0.72% at 11,482.43 points.
The EGX100 EWI also inched down by 0.78% to 3,125.94 points, and the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 0.6% to 2,114.49 points.
Similarly, the EGX50 EWI went down by 0.95% to 2,004.56 points.
The trading value reached EGP 1.04 billion after 265.85 million shares were exchanged, compared to EGP 698.6 million and 246.55 million shares on Sunday. Meanwhile, the market cap value decreased to EGP 730.25 billion from EGP 733.76 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors remained net buyers for the second session in a row with EGP 175.19 million, while Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 12.44 million and EGP 162.74 million, respectively.
