Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) main index (EGX30) closed Sunday higher by 1.5% at 11,708.05 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.97% to 3,151.3 points.
Similarly, the EGX50 EWI went up by 0.89% to 2,025.35 points. The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI increased by 1.05% to 2,137.16 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.19 billion after exchanging 313.64 million shares on stocks, compared to EGP 4.3 billion and 733.47 million shares on Thursday.
The market cap value surged to EGP 736.22 billion from EGP 730.17 billion in the previous session.
As for trading on securities, Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 121.16 million, while Egyptian and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 61.12 million and EGP 60.04 million, respectively.
