Egyptian-Indian bilateral trade hits $4.5bn in 2018

Cairo – Mubasher: Trade exchange between Egypt and India amounted to $4.5 billion at the end of 2018, Ahram Gate reported on Monday, citing the Egyptian minister of trade and industry Amr Nassar as saying.

Indian investments in the Egyptian market stood at $3.3 billion through 50 projects operating in construction, agriculture, ready-made garments, chemical industries, food industries, manufacturing, services, pharmaceuticals, plastics, energy, and renewable energy, Nassar added in his meeting with the Indian ambassador to Egypt Rahul Kulshreshth.

Both sides stressed on the importance boosting trade between the two countries.
