Cairo – Mubasher: General Petroleum Co (GPC) announced on Sunday that it will hold a global auction for oil exploration and production in Egypt’s Eastern desert.
The deadline for submitting bids will be on 28 December, according to an announcement in Al-Ahram newspaper.
The available areas for exploration include the 50-kiliometre Wadi Dara and the 20-kilometre Block G in West Gharib.
