Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Cabinet reviewed the masterplan of Rivera Resorts project in Sahl Hasheesh in the Red Sea Governorate.
The megaproject, located 25 kilometres (km) south of Hurghada airport, will be established over 13,800 feddans as part of the strategic plan for developing the southern area of the city, according to a statement on Thursday.
The Rivera project, which is expected to create about 150,000 direct and indirect jobs, will include several hotels and resorts, along with a sports city and an entertainment city.
The Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, ordered the resumption of studies related to the establishment of the project and the assessment of the infrastructure construction cost.
