Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session with collective gains, as the EGX30 main index added 0.23% to 17,897.50 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI levelled up by 0.99% to 3,635.21 points.
Similarly, the EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 0.67% to 5,360.82 points.
The EGX’s turnover hit EGP 3.22 billion after 800.59 million shares were traded, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.21 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 48.18 million and EGP 107.78 million in respective order. Meanwhile, the Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 155.97 million.
