Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed at 11,371.21 points after falling by 1.42%.
The EGX50 EWI decreased by 1.77% to close at 1,947.45 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declined by 1.52% to 1,953.69 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI fell by 1.68% to end the session at 2,941.56 points.
EGX’s turnover reached EGP 501.25 million through the trading of 220.67 million shares.
The market cap value reached EGP 716.56 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 14.26 million and EGP 11.99 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 26.25 million.
