Egypt’s stock market ends Tuesday’s session on collective rise

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session in the green territory, with the EGX30 main index growing by 0.91% to stand at 15,981.88 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI added 0.73%, settling at 2,848.57 points.

Likewise, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices soared by 2.23% to 2,962.39 points and by 1.73% to 4,431.88 points, respectively.

EGX’s turnover reached EGP 3.13 billion after 696.35 million shares were exchanged, whereas the market cap value stood at EGP 1.05 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 45.45 million and EGP 27.53 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 72.98 million.
