Egypt’s stock market ends Sunday's session in green

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session in the green zone with the EGX30 main index levelling up by 0.06% to 15,561.25 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI grew by 0.97% to end the session at 2,786.48 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session up by 1.18% to 2,840.08 points and by 0.94% to 4,274.54 points, respectively.

EGX’s turnover reached EGP 1.74 billion after 449.56 million shares were exchanged, whereas the market cap value stood at EGP 1.02 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 5.34 million and EGP 23.18 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 28.53 million.
