Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s trading session in the green zone, with the EGX30 main index up 0.88% to 9,369.32 points.
The EGX50 EWI rose by 0.69% to 1,710.39 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session higher by 0.74% to 1,847.39 points and by 0.81% to 2,707.97 points, respectively.
EGX’s trading value stood at EGP 740.81 million after 264.73 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value reached EGP 628.06 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 150.78 million and EGP 20.05 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 170.83 million.
