Egypt’s stock market closes Wednesday mixed

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading with a mixed performance after the EGX30 main index fell by 0.48% to 25,466.75 points.

On the other hand, the EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 1.35% at 5,890.17 points and by 1.03% at 8,404.72 points, respectively.

EGX’s turnover hit EGP 3.83 billion through the exchange of 1.16 billion shares, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.77 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 72.32 million and EGP 944,330, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 73.26 million.
